I'm a South Dade mom with little ones of my own. Every week I was doing the same thing: checking the library calendar, the parks, three Facebook groups and an Eventbrite search, just to find one thing we could do on Saturday morning. Half the posts were from last year. The other half were for big kids.

So now I do that homework once a week and share it. Every Thursday there's a new list of things to do with babies, toddlers and preschoolers, from Cutler Bay and Palmetto Bay down through Homestead, the Redland and all the way to Key West.

How every event gets checked

• We only list things a kid 5 or under can actually join and enjoy.
• Date, time, price and address come from the organizer's own page (the library, the park, the venue), checked the week we post it.
• If we can't confirm something, it doesn't go on the list as fact.
• Nobody pays to be on the list. If that ever changes, it will be clearly marked as sponsored.
